With music that is fresh and mellow, intimate yet cool – hovering on the delicate edge of masculinity and sensuality – Zé Ibarra draws us, for one evening, into the very heart of Brazilian culture and music. A singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist with a hypnotic voice, his work weaves together MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), jazz, experimental soundscapes, and pop. In 2025, Ibarra released his solo album AFIM, issued in Europe by the renowned record label Mr. Bongo and warmly received by music lovers in both Brazil and across Europe.
