This summer, Philly Joe’s belongs to its residents! The stage is set for Estonia’s rising young musicians — distinctive bandleaders and artists with a fresh sonic voice, already shaping the future of the local alternative scene.

Each night brings a new focus, sound and line-up, ranging from premieres of new material to one-of-a-kind experiments and late-night jam sessions. 

Expect contemporary jazz and everything orbiting around it! All summer long in the heart of Tallinn, at Philly Joe's Jazz Club!

“Jazz Behind the Glass”

DoubleTwin is a duo formed by guitarist Karl Filipp Varres and keyboardist Martin Ainsalu, brought together by a close friendship and a shared passion for jazz and fusion. Their music moves between atmospheric improvisation and energetic contemporary rhythms and harmonies, while also drawing inspiration from electronic music.

“Jazz Behind the Glass” is an evening of improvisation and unexpected sonic textures. Traditional jazz meets contemporary grooves, with each piece unfolding like a conversation between past and present. The concert will also feature original music by the resident artists.
