¡TABLAO! - ,,flamenco del Norte al Sur” returns to Philly Joe's for the fifth time! This evening welcomes the incomparable flamenco dancer Mariana Collado as the ensemble's special guest, as well as for the first time they will be joined by Finnish flamenco vocalist Anna Murtola.

¡TABLAO! is flamenco in its purest improvisational form—unfolding in the moment. This is a concept where any combination of musicians and dancers can come together in a single evening to bring audiences a blend of complex rhythms, beautiful melodies, and captivating dance from distant Andalusia.

Mariana Collado is a dancer, director, and choreographer from Almería, known for her distinctive movement vocabulary and intelligent artistic vision. Since 2008, she has been a soloist with the internationally acclaimed Kaari & Roni Martini Company and has created multiple acclaimed productions with Carlos Chamorro. Collado is a co-founder of La Ridícula Danza, and her works—including "MYL 2.0"—have won and been nominated for prestigious awards including the Lorca Prize and the Madrid Choreography Competition. She actively works as a guest choreographer and dramaturg in flamenco and dance projects worldwide, and has performed as a dancer in Manuel Liñán's production "La otra escena."

Ingrid Mugu is an Estonian flamenco dancer and choreographer based in Madrid, where she studies at Conservatorio Superior María de Ávila. She previously trained at Cristina Heeren de Arte Flamenco in Seville and is the first Estonian professional artist performing in Seville's tablaos. She is creator and performer of the flamenco production "Soledad," which received a nomination for the Estonian Theatre Awards. She has performed at Tampere Flamenco Festival, Guirijondo Festival, and in tablaos in Warsaw, Vienna, Helsinki, Malmö, and beyond.

Anna Murtola is arguably the world's northernmost flamenco vocalist. Recognized as a pioneer of Finnish flamenco singing, she has developed her powerful voice as an interpreter of this passionate Spanish tradition. For more than two decades, she has immersed herself in the flamenco world, performing with dancers, musicians, and artists across genres. Murtola is known as a versatile and charismatic performer constantly seeking ways to transcend genre and cultural boundaries. Her latest solo album, "La Tierra Blanca" (Nordic Notes, 2023), merges Northern landscape and sensibility with Spanish flamenco tradition and was nominated in 2023 for Germany's Critics' Award in the Best World Music Album category.

Tony de María is one of Finland and Northern Europe's most acclaimed flamenco guitarists. His journey on flamenco guitar began in the 1990s in Finland, and he soon traveled to flamenco's birthplace, Andalusia, to deepen his craft. Beyond accompanying flamenco dancers and singers, he creates his own music and interprets the compositions of flamenco masters, performing actively in Finland, Estonia, and Latvia.
