Aavik Duo “Classical Meets Jazz”

The mission of Aavik Duo is to bring a fresh and playful perspective to classical music. Hans Christian and Karolina Aavik are acclaimed for their imaginative interpretations, meticulous musicianship and effortless rapport on stage. Although both musicians are firmly rooted in the classical tradition, the duo refuses to be confined by genre. Instead, they actively seek out points of connection between classical music and jazz, leaving room for discovery and surprise for both themselves and their audience. The Aaviks are bold storytellers who offer insight into the background and context of the music they perform while engaging with the audience in a relaxed and natural way, creating a warm and inclusive concert atmosphere.
