Pianist William Youn will be performing with ERSO and the concert will be conducted by Mario Venzago. Critics have dubbed Youn a poet on the piano, whose brilliant touch allows him to dive into the spiritual depths of music. With ERSO, he will be performing the first movement of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 9. 2024 is the 200th anniversary of the birth of composer Anton Bruckner. Mario Venzago will conduct his Symphony No. 3, dedicated to Richard Wagner – the piece is also known as the Wagner Symphony.
