Swedish Open presented by Kastaplast • DGPT Europe

We are thrilled to announce the return of the Swedish Open for the 2024 season, now established as one of the five elite series events of the new DGPT Europe.

The tournament is played on the beautiful Ymergårdens Discgolfcenter -a course that really challenges the players shot shaping abilities. The most famous hole on the course is number 5, which is 718 feet downhill. Gorgeous! The tournament and the course is getting bigger and better for every year, and the gallery is really impressive. Borås is the centre of interest for disc golf in Sweden - and Ymergården is the home course for both Linus Carlsson and the european champion Dennis Augustsson. The local organizers are passionate in making everyone comfortable and appreciated, regardless if you are a player, a spectator or a volunteer!

There are two ticket options available for the event: General Admission (GA) tickets and VIP tickets. With a GA ticket, you can enjoy the game from our designated spectator areas. Area 1 = Hole 1,2,3,4 (and a glimpse of the tee shot on hole 5) Area 2 = Hole 17/18 (and the tee shot on hole 2). Additionally, you will have access to the vending area where you close by can follow the live action on a giant screen in between browsing what the excellent vendors, including Ugglans Disc Golf Store, have to offer. You can also treat yourself to some goodies and get a disc signed after your favorite players complete their rounds and pass through the mixed zone. In the vending area, you can also explore various food options, and inside Ymergården (the clubhouse), indulge in Swedish fika, highly recommended for a great experience!

If you want to get even closer to the players during the game, the VIP ticket is your option! That would allow you to follow a group closely throughout most of the course. (Note that some areas will still be restricted).

Spectator Camera Policy
No flash photography. This is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the property.
No live streaming on personal devices. This is also strictly enforced and grounds for immediate removal.
No cameras are allowed at this event, please leave it at home.

Spectator Rules

• Spectators must have a valid spectator credentials on display at all times while on the grounds.
  
• Spectators must stay within the provided confines for viewing. Stay off of the playing surface at all times and do not interfere with play. Event staff staff will be available to direct spectators where to be. You must heed the direction of the event staff.
  
• Spectators must remain respectful to all players and other patrons. Any unruly behavior will result in your pass being confiscated and you will be escorted from the property. This includes unsupervised or unruly children.
  
• Spectators are not allowed to approach the players. This goes for all areas of the property: the parking area, warm-up area, or the course. Autograph sessions will be set up for after competitor rounds conclude. You must not approach the players at any time, for any reason unless engaged by them.
  
• No outside alcoholic beverages are allowed in the event. Food and beverage will be available on-site for purchase.
  
• No Pets allowed.
  
• Any persons not following the above is subject to removal from the property and pass(es) revoked.

Refund Policy

Weather Refunds: The Disc Golf Pro Tour will not refund tickets in the event of a round or multiple rounds being canceled, rescheduled, moved, or otherwise adjusted due to weather or other similar circumstances.
