Arvo Leibur on olnud üle kahekümne aasta Eesti Riikliku Sümfooniaorkestri kontsertmeister ning töötab Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia keelpilliõppe juhina. Ta on soleerinud ja andnud kontserte üle Euroopa, salvestanud hulgaliselt muusikat ning pälvinud muuhulgas Eesti Muusikanõukogu interpretatsioonipreemia, Hollandi Oranje-Nassau ordeni ja Eesti Kultuurkapitali helikunsti sihtkapitali aastapreemia. 2023. aastal autasustati Leiburit Eesti Vabariigi presidendi poolt Valgetähe IV klassi ordeniga.
Mia Kurvits õpib Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemias professor Arvo Leiburi juhendamisel ning on soleerinud Eller Sümfonieti ja Vanemuise Sümfooniaorkestri ees. Ta on täiendanud end Rūta Lipinatytė, Miloš Petrovići, Lev Klychkovi ja Roman Spitzeri meistriklassides ning mänginud ERSO, Vanemuise Sümfooniaorkestri, Pärnu Linnaorkestri, Klaaspärlimäng Sinfonietta ja Baltic Sea Philharmonic koosseisus.
Peep Lassmann on tunnustatud pianist ja kauaaegne pedagoog, kes oli aastatel 1992–2017 Eesti Muusika- ja Teatriakadeemia rektor ning töötab praegu professorina ja nõukogu liikmena. Ta on esinenud enam kui 30 riigis, soleerinud mainekate orkestrite ees ja musitseerinud koos nimekate interpreetidega, olles tuntud eriti Olivier Messiaeni loomingu esitamise poolest. Lassmann on salvestanud rohkelt muusikat, andnud meistrikursusi, olnud rahvusvaheliste konkursside žüriides ning pälvinud teiste seas Eesti Kultuurkapitali elutööpreemia ja Eesti Muusikanõukogu aastapreemia.

Arvo Leibur has been the concertmaster of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra for over twenty years and serves as Head of String Studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He has performed as a soloist and given concerts across Europe, recorded extensively, and received, among others, the Estonian Music Council Interpretation Prize, the Dutch Order of Orange-Nassau, and the Annual Award of the Endowment for Music of the Estonian Cultural Endowment. In 2023, Leibur was awarded the Order of the White Star, 4th Class, by the President of the Republic of Estonia.
Mia Kurvits is studying at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the guidance of Professor Arvo Leibur and has appeared as a soloist with the Eller Sinfonietta and the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra. She has participated in masterclasses with Rūta Lipinaitė, Miloš Petrović, Lev Klychkov, and Roman Spitzer, and has performed with the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra, Pärnu City Orchestra, Glasperlenspiel Sinfonietta, and Baltic Sea Philharmonic.
Peep Lassmann is a distinguished pianist and long-time educator, who served as Rector of the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre from 1992 to 2017. He currently works as a professor and member of the Academy Council. He has performed in more than thirty countries, appeared as a soloist with renowned orchestras, and collaborated with celebrated musicians, earning particular recognition for his interpretations of Olivier Messiaen’s works. Lassmann has recorded extensively, given masterclasses, served on the juries of international competitions, and received, among other honours, the Estonian Cultural Endowment Lifetime Achievement Award and the Estonian Music Council’s Annual Award.
The concert series Harmonia Universitatis is a collaboration between the University of Tartu and the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Within the series, students and faculty of the Academy take audiences on a musical journey, offering both timeless classics and fresh works by Estonian and international composers. The series was created to bring memorable musical experiences to audiences in Southern Estonia, presented in the beautiful University of Tartu Assembly Hall.
