This summer, Philly Joe’s belongs to its residents! The stage is set for Estonia’s rising young musicians — distinctive bandleaders and artists with a fresh sonic voice, already shaping the future of the local alternative scene.

Each night brings a new focus, sound and line-up, ranging from premieres of new material to one-of-a-kind experiments and late-night jam sessions. 

Expect contemporary jazz and everything orbiting around it! All summer long in the heart of Tallinn, at Philly Joe's Jazz Club!

“Original Compositions”

Duo Tundmus is a vocal-piano duo with a nostalgic sound, featuring Gloria Elisabeth Jörberg and Lisanne Pappel. Both musicians are currently pursuing their studies in the Netherlands: Gloria is studying jazz vocals at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, while Lisanne is studying jazz piano at Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

Last year, Duo Tundmus released their debut album, Sleepless Nights, which was selected as Raadio Tallinn’s Album of the Month for August 2025. The duo has performed at the Tudengijazz festival and made their international debut last year on the Container Stage at the renowned North Sea Jazz Festival, one of Europe’s leading jazz events.

At the second concert of Duo Tundmus’ summer residency, the ensemble will perform their latest original compositions in an expanded lineup, offering a preview of their upcoming second studio album. The pieces are inspired by the musical worlds of Gershwin, Blossom Dearie, and Caity Gyorgy. The evening features both heartfelt ballads and engaging swing numbers that will create a glamorous and theatrical night with a warm sense of nostalgia.
