Since 2013 Joamets has been living and working in the United States of America in Nashville, Tennessee, thanks to a happy coincidence when he planned his vacation to the US at the same time that country artist Sturgill Simpson was looking for a guitarist for his touring band. During their collaboration, they have toured North America countless times, but have also toured Europe several times and finally reached Estonia in 2025. Laur has participated in three full-length albums with Simpson's band, of which "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music" was a Grammy nominee in 2015 and "A Sailors Guide to Earth" was a Grammy winner in 2017. Joamets was awarded the Best Instrumentalist nomination at the 2015 Americana Awards in Nashville for his work on the album "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music". As a musician, he has also performed on Late Night shows of icons David Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Jimmy Fallon.
The concert will feature Laur Joamets' original work from her upcoming debut album "Võõrad Suled" recorded in Nashville.
