Mick Pedaja + Sam Sauvage (FR)
Last year, the founder and program coordinator of Võnge, Tarmo Sikk, was awarded a prestigious honor from the French state – the Order of Arts and Letters. This recognition stems from his efforts over the past decade in inviting numerous important French artists to Estonia. Among them, artists such as Pomme, L'Impératrice, Kid Francescoli, Lewis OfMan, and others have graced the Võnge stage. We would like to share this honor with all our friends and invite you to join us on Wednesday, February 26th, at Paavli Kultuurivabrik!
On this special evening, Estonian and French music will meet in Paavli.
First, the young French talent Sam Sauvage, who has been gaining popularity in his home country and beyond, will take the stage. His music combines French chanson with pop, and his vibrant melodies and captivating lyrics take the listener on a journey through contemporary urban landscapes while offering a glimpse into the adventurous world of city dwellers. Sauvage’s songs, such as "On Est Là" and "La Fin Du Monde," have accumulated hundreds of thousands of streams on music platforms.
Next, we will be treated to the sounds of beloved Estonian musician and film composer Mick Pedaja, who will enchant the audience with organic, flowing, and cosmic sounds inspired by nature and humanity. Mick has composed music for several films and series, including "Scandinavian Silence," "The Bog," and "Life and Love."
