Robirohi feat. Kelli Uustani is an acoustic Roots and Americana band, where the pulsating language of bluegrass, the soul of gospel and the elegance of swing meet the Estonian language, jazz-infused vocals and the warm sound of natural string instruments. The result is intimate, rhythmic and style-sensitive roots music!

Kelli Uustani is an Estonian singer, songwriter and actress, whose warm, nuanced, yet powerful voice and strong storytelling skills create an immediate and personal stage experience. Her work moves smoothly on the border of jazz, pop and musical theatre. Her voice has been compared to Barbra Streisand, Eva Cassidy and Caecilie Norby. Her musical path combines classical conducting studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and musical theatre studies in London. She has performed internationally with various ensembles across Europe and for a long time in Japan, and early in her career sang backing vocals for Elton John at the Royal Albert Hall. Today, Kelli focuses on meaningful, song and ensemble oriented music through her trio and various collaborative projects. A few years ago, she began working with the ensemble Robirohi to open up the direction of acoustic roots music for herself - their program combines bluegrass and country with jazz, swing and blues. This crossover approach highlights how closely these genres are actually related, carrying the common American musical heritage of all, yet sounding fresh and individual.

Robirohi is a 5-member band from Tallinn, which plays bluegrass music on acoustic string instruments. Their repertoire includes many gospel songs, folk songs and swing-inspired country. Among the tunes of American and Swedish origin, they also play several Estonian folk songs. Robirohi has been active since 1995 and has released a total of 8 different albums and 1 concert video.
