JOSE SERRANO & MARIA RÄÄK FLAMENCO
José Serrano is a dancer and choreographer from Córdoba who began his professional career at the age of 15 with Mario Maya's company. He has collaborated with Cristina Hoyos, Antonio Canales, Rafael Aguilar, etc. From 1989 to 1998 he was a soloist with the Spanish National Ballet and from 2000 to 2017 he was a soloist and choreographer with the Sara Baras company. José Serrano has also participated in Vicente Escriva's film "Montoyas y Tarantos" and Carlos Saura's film "Iberia".
Maria Rääk graduated from Tallinn University with a degree in choreography, studied flamenco at the Madrid Flamenco Center Amor de Dios and various dance schools in Seville and Jerez. She found flamenco through the Spanish language, having worked as a translator and teacher. She currently works as a choreographer, flamenco teacher and dancer in her own studio ArteFlamenco and gives performances in collaboration with flamenco dancers and musicians from both Estonia and Spain.
Adrian Bravo began studying violin at the age of 6. He studied at the Joaquin Turina Conservatory and the Royal Conservatory of Madrid under Professor Joaquin Torre. In 2008, he defended his master's degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. Adrian is a laureate of the Gold Medal of the European Academy of Arts (2003). Since 2007 he has been a soloist at the Estonian National Opera. In addition Adrian collaborates with various orchestras, chamber ensembles and flamenco musicians.
Reigo Ahven is a drummer and percussionist from Estonia who has a special passion for the exciting traditions of rhythmic music and has been fascinated by flamenco music and dance culture with cajon, castanets, clapping and phenomenal choreography for over 20 years.
Indrek Kruusimaa is an Estonian flamenco guitarist who has played in various fusion-funk projects, worked with different styles such as gipsy jazz, classical music and has now come to flamenco.
Ruber Veliz is a singer from Cuba who has studied classical singing and clarinet. He has worked with various styles such as salsa, bachata, jazz, opera, pop, rock, funk, rap and flamenco. He's participated in various projects both in Cuba and abroad and currently lives in Tallinn working as a singer and percussionist.
Tony de María is one of the most appreciated flamenco guitarists in Finland. He's released the album Promesa and five singles. Besides accompanying flamenco dance and singing Tony composes his own music and also performs as a solo artist.
