KIIORA "PALAS" ALBUM RELEASE PARTY

Friday, February 21, 8 p.m., Philly Joe's Jazz Club

In 2025 Kiiora celebrates its 15th birthday!
Inspired by Seto folk music, the band plays Estonian and other traditional dance music, while increasingly making their own compositions inspired by it.

The band released their favorite songs from recent years on their third album "Palas" in December 2024. Music from Poland, England, Livonia, the Setos of Siberia, and of course the musicians themselves allow the listener to dance along vigorously, but also to reflect.

Kiiora plays for locals or those from far away, at a village party or on a big stage - it is clear that their music reaches the heart of every listener and the feet that unexpectedly start dancing.
This is an invitation to the listeners: come dance, travel among the nations, get off the ground!

Martin-Eero Kõressaar will take the stage with Kiiora as a guest performer.

Line-up:
Matis Leima - violin, garmon, vocals
Mihkel Sildoja - garmon, vocals
Laurits Leima - guitar, vocals
Martin-Eero Kõressaar - bass
