"Tribute to Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley" ft. Nikita Korzoun
Lee Lorè is a jazz vocalist from Tallinn, currently studying at Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam. Her music bridges traditional jazz and contemporary interpretation, marked by sensitivity, an intimate atmosphere, and a distinctly Nordic sound palette — inviting listeners to step away from the everyday and savour the beauty of the moment. Lee performs in various ensembles and has appeared as a soloist with the Estonian Dream Big Band and the Codarts University Big Band. She has received recognition at competitions including Andantino, Kuldleheke, and Tallinna Talent, and in 2025 won the Grand Prix at Solistika as well as the Leading Female Artist Award at the Prinses Christina Concours in the Netherlands. During this summer Lee Lorè will also appear at the Grachtenfestival in Amsterdam and Jazz in de Gracht in The Hague.
For the opening concert of her residency, Lee Lorè pays tribute to Nancy Wilson — a vocalist of exceptional voice and one of her greatest inspirations. Joined by saxophonist Nikita Korzoun, the programme is built around the legendary 1962 collaborative album by Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley. The evening brings jazz classics to the stage, where a distinctive vocal style meets the saxophone’s playful energy. With fresh interpretations, these young musicians will breathe new life into traditional jazz while preserving all the charm and magic of that era.
Line-up:

Nikita Korzoun - alto saxophone

Lisanne Pappel - piano
Lota-Loviisa Rohtla - double bass
